Still-'treacherous' Earl pushes toward Long Island, Cape Cod
Hurricane Earl held on to its Category 1 status as it closed in on summer homes and residences on Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. It was expected to hit late Friday or early Saturday before pushing on to Nova Scotia.
